Bedrock Wine Co. is Morgan Twain-Peterson's old-vine obsession, and he's a vocal believer in Sonoma Valley as one of California's great homes for Cabernet. This Sonoma County bottling is the proof: a Cabernet of real structure and proportion, fresh and detailed rather than jammy or over-oaked. There's serious vineyard pedigree behind it, delivered at a price that makes most Napa Cabernet blush. Approachable now, but it'll easily reward a decade in the cellar.
