Nicolas Faure trained at Domaine de la Romanee-Conti and Prieure-Roch before starting his own micro-domaine, which took shape around 2014. Based in Meuilley in the Hautes Cotes, he farms a tiny vineyard across prestigious appellations with rare exacting standards. Les Vignes Blanches comes from very old, century-old Aligote vines near Pernand-Vergelesses, the kind of ancient plantings that lift this often-overlooked grape into something serious and saline. Production is tiny. The 2024 is fresh and energetic; drink it over the next few years.
