Shark is one of the playful négoce bottlings from Coup de Jus, the side project of Géraud and Pauline Fromont of Domaine des Marnes Blanches in the Jura. They buy organic grapes from friends across France and vinify them clean and low-intervention, here a Riesling sourced from Alsace. Expect a dry, mineral, energetic white made naturally and meant to be drunk young and chilled. The 2024 is bright and food-friendly, a wine that doesn't take itself too seriously. Pop the cork, pour it cold, and enjoy.
