La Justice is a village-level lieu-dit at the southern edge of Gevrey-Chambertin, just off the route nationale, and a source of friendly, drink-now-or-soon village Burgundy. La Combe Grisard is a small grower making just a couple of tons from this site, with hand harvest, 80% whole cluster, native yeast fermentation, and aging in second- and third-fill barrels — a low-intervention approach that keeps the wine transparent to vintage and place. The 2015 vintage gave Gevrey both ripeness and structure, and a decade on, this should be at a sweet spot of fruit and savory development.
