Every serious estate needs a bottle it can pour on a Tuesday, and this is Spreitzer's. Andreas and Bernd Spreitzer farm in Oestrich, in the Rheingau, on land their family has worked since 1641, and their estate dry Riesling is drawn from parcels across those holdings. Whole-cluster pressed, fermented slowly, bottled dry: nothing fancy, nothing hidden. What you get is high, clean acidity, real cut, and the kind of low-alcohol drinkability that makes the second glass inevitable. It is also an excellent argument that Riesling should be the default white in your fridge.
