Red Car has spent two decades chasing the coldest, foggiest corners of the true Sonoma Coast, and this is the bottling where all that hard-won knowledge gets democratized. It draws on their coastal sites - wind-exposed, marine-influenced, picked with acidity intact - and it's made the same way as the top wines: native yeast fermentation, very little new oak, minimal handling. What you get is a Pinot Noir that tastes like the place rather than like the cellar: red-fruited, savory, energetic, and considerably more serious than its position in the lineup would suggest.
