The Knights Templar planted vines here in 1204, and eight centuries later the Commanderie de Peyrassol is still going — now with a sculpture park scattered among the vineyards in the foothills of the Massif des Maures. La Croix is the estate's widest net: organically farmed fruit from Peyrassol's own IGP parcels plus partner growers across the Mediterranean coast, led by Cinsault with Grenache, Syrah, and a splash of Caladoc.
