The rose from Marcio Lopes' Pequenos Rebentos project, made from a blend of Vinhao and Alvarelhao grown organically on granite soils in the Vinho Verde region. Marcio launched his label in 2010 after working alongside Anselmo Mendes - one of Vinho Verde's most respected winemakers - and harvest gigs in Australia. His Rosa keeps the spirit of the region's traditional reds while offering the lift and freshness of a serious rose: native-yeast fermentation in stainless steel, a touch of natural prickle, low intervention throughout. A bright, salty, food-friendly pink that drinks easily but rewards a closer look.
