Lucia is the Pisoni family's brand, run by Mark Pisoni from the same legendary Santa Lucia Highlands vineyards that put the region on the world map. The Estate Cuvee Chardonnay pulls from Pisoni and Soberanes — two of the most sought-after sites in the SLH — and gets the family's signature treatment: hand-picked, native yeast, French oak. The 2023 vintage was a slow, late one in the Highlands, and the wine shows it: round, rich, and exuberant, with golden apple, allspice, white peach, and a stony mineral spine that keeps everything in balance.
