La Rogerie Champagne Grand Cru Reserve Perpetuelle Bourg/Nord NV ['21-'23]
La Rogerie, the grower project of Justine Boxler and Francois Petit, built this cuvee as a reserve perpetuelle, a perpetual blend where each year's wine joins a living solera of older vintages. This release draws predominantly on grand cru Avize Chardonnay (with a small amount from neighboring grand cru Oger) across 2021 through 2023, so it's a Blanc de Blancs with both energy and depth. The perpetual reserve gives it added complexity and roundness while the young fruit keeps it bright. Expect orchard and citrus fruit layered with toasty, leesy notes and a chalky, saline finish. A compelling expression of the Cote des Blancs.
