Guido Marsella Greco di Tufo 2021
Guido Marsella is one of the pioneers who helped revive the high-altitude Summonte zone of Irpinia, in Campania, where his vines sit around 600 meters in the Partenio park on clay-loam soils rich in volcanic material. Best known for Fiano, he brings the same low-yield, late-release patience to the region's other great native whites. Greco di Tufo is the boldest of them, grown on the sulfur-rich volcanic soils that give the grape its name. This is a structured, mineral white with real grip. The 2021 is drinking well now and will hold for a few years.
