A direct-press rosé built for the dinner table, made from Grenache with small additions of Syrah and Mourvèdre grown along California's cool Central Coast. Fossil Point — Center of Effort's Edna Valley sister project — sources fruit from sites within shouting distance of the Pacific, where chilly fog keeps natural acidity high. The grapes are pressed immediately upon picking and fermented cold in stainless steel to lock in primary fruit and a pale, salmon-pink color. The result is a Provençal-style rosé with California fruit: dry, savory, and unmistakably built to drink with food.
