From the cool, fog-swept hills of Edna Valley, where ancient marine soils and Pacific breezes keep Chardonnay tight and vibrant. Fossil Point is a sister project to Center of Effort, and this is their everyday Chardonnay — hand-harvested fruit fermented in small lots and aged in neutral and once-used French oak so the fruit and minerality lead, not the wood. The result is a California Chardonnay that drinks more like a Mâconnais than a Napa creature: lean, citrusy, and refreshing, with just enough creaminess to round out the mid-palate.
