Jurassic Park earned its name honestly: planted in the late 1970s on sandy, limestone-flecked soils outside Los Olivos, it's one of the oldest Chenin Blanc parcels in California. Andrew Jones farms the 9-plus acres sustainably and bottles it as a single-vineyard wine that has become one of the calling cards of Field Recordings. Expect what old-vine California Chenin does best: a waxy, textural mid-palate balanced by tight citrus and an almost saline minerality.
