The cool air and shallow soils give the wine a Loire-meets-Saint-Emilion shape: graphite, crushed herbs, sour-cherry brightness, and silky tannins. Native yeast, whole-cluster portion, neutral oak. A California Bordeaux blend with energy, herbs, and lift instead of weight.
