Napa gets the Cabernet headlines, but Sonoma has been quietly ripening it just as fully, with a little more freshness left in the tank. Eric Kent's Appellation Series is small-lot work drawn from sustainably farmed Sonoma County sites, aged in good French oak, and built to drink now rather than wait a decade. Every bottle also carries original art from an emerging artist, which is a nice bonus. Generous, dark-fruited, and confidently ripe.
