Anno Uno means "Year One," and the name is literal: this is made from the very first grapes Col di Corte picks each harvest, off their warmest, earliest-ripening slope. Think of it as the opening act of the vintage — the estate's fresh, unfussed Verdicchio, farmed biodynamically in the Classico heartland of the Marche. It's fermented on wild yeast in steel with no oak, so nothing gets in the way of the grape's bright fruit and stony cut. Verdicchio's signature bitter-almond twist shows up right on cue at the finish.
