Château de Villeneuve in Souzay-Champigny is one of Saumur's most respected addresses for both Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc. Fermented in stainless steel and concrete, aged in a mix of large oak barrels, cement, and steel. The Loire's cooler climate preserves Cabernet Franc's natural herbaceous complexity alongside juicy fruit—a style that's often described as the French counterpart to Pinot Noir.
