This is Andre Heucq's heritage bottling, the fourth-generation family's flagship blend and a snapshot of their organic corner of the Vallee de la Marne. It draws on multiple vintages and all three Champagne grapes, roughly Chardonnay-led with equal parts Meunier and Pinot Noir, part fermented in oak and aged a long five years on the lees. Disgorged Extra Brut with low dosage, it is textured, complete, and quietly serious. Here it comes in a half bottle, the ideal pour for two or a solo celebration.
